…I'm angry, very angry.

…I'm angry, very angry. And I'm very tired. And why'? I'll explain it to you now.

Centuries of emancipation, of so-called progress, of evolution of the human race. And after all this progress and evolution we are still surrounded by wars, genocides... and in the name of what? Of a “God”? Of money, of power, of affirmation... All symbols that belong to the patriarchy. For centuries we have been told that they are necessary for evolution, for progress. But are we really sure?

Terrible events are happening these days, like those in Gaza, which partly affect us and lead us to take sides, but we have no idea how much they really affect us and impact our lives, but most importantly all future generations.

We are all born with an heritage, and what we are today we also owe to past generations. We also inherit the traumas suffered from our maternal line.

We carry within us so much anger, suffering, anxiety, guilt that we cannot explain rationally, but they are feelings that exist within us and that we struggle to express, because we feel they belong to us, but sometimes not.

If it is true that we inherit the traumas of our maternal line, it is said of seven generations... let's think on a historical and social level how our ancestors lived, what events they faced.

There have been wars, many wars. We are children of rape and genocide, all of us, without exceptions. Because patriarchy asserts its power in this way, and it is still like this today.

We are children of repressed, unhappy women who were unable to express their power, who were silenced.

We are children of women who have had many secrets, who have carried wanted children but also unwanted children.

So, are we really sure we are evolving or are we continuing to tell ourselves this fairy tale?

I'm tired of reading stories of rape, feminicide, wars, genocides every day... it hurts me and makes me very angry how much all this is "justified".

I keep reading sentences like... she is a wore so she deserved it, she should be more careful, she doesn't know how to choose men... Who does people immediately blame? Mothers and how they raised their children.

Does this also apply to women raped during wars? In the name of “God”?

All this impacts not only us women, but the whole of society. Men are children of these women, raised by a patriarchal model in which it is too often considered birthright to take what belongs to them, if necessary even by force.

These days we are approaching the celebrations of the dead, which exist in many cultures, traditions and religions. We honor our ancestors, their stories. Let's free them from their traumas, to free our traumas and our suffering.

I don't want to be angry anymore, I want to be FREE and you?
