Let's authorise ourselves!

Today, during a beautiful reading I was given this powerful word... "Authorize"

My body started to vibrate strongly, I immediately realized how powerful it was, and why? Could it almost sound like a "negative" word?

In my previous article I talked about the traumas related to our memories of present life and the life of our ancestors, and what women in past centuries have suffered.

So I thought, since it doesn't come so naturally to us to take what is due to us... So let's authorize ourselves to do so, because if we don't start from ourselves first, how can we think the "system" authorizes us?

But authorize ourselves to do what?

· to take time for ourselves... guilt-free

· Loving and taking care of ourselves

· Say NO

· Say your opinion

· Joy of our successes without shame

· Letting your light shine

· Ask for the money we are owed

· Ask for a pay rise, a promotion

· Deciding to be a mother, or not

· Rewriting our past

· Rewriting the "rules"

· Be a leader

I could go on and on, but did you identify yourself with any of these examples? Or what would you have added to the list?

Authorizing ourselves without waiting for someone else to do it for us is a strong tool, which makes us start from ourselves.

Let's talk in more detail about some of the examples I mentioned... e.g. those relating to professional life.

Some of you may know that I have been working for more than 20 years in a corporation, and I have changed various roles in the commercial field . Several times it happened to me to be bypassed when I deserved a promotion, to be told that I was not enough, that I could not take certain roles and that I would have to prove X and Y. Well, initially I fell into the trap and I’ve worked so hard to prove them wrong... Has anything changed? Absolutely not, except for the recognition of being a valuable resource... But the truth is that I didn't authorize myself as I would have liked and should have, to answer that I already demonstrated every day with my work what I am worth, and to ask what was deserved.

Talking to so many women, I realize how difficult it is to authorize ourselves to ask for what is due to us.

Another example... I know many women who have activities in the field of handcraft and social work and struggling to ask for the money they are entitled for their work, and to be ashamed to askj for money. This is because women have been working for free for centuries, so they have been slaves. Then let us authorize ourselves to ask for the money that is due for our work, for our gifts and for our talents.

Let us allow ourselves to shine, but in the truest sense of the word.

Let's allow ourselves to show to the world who we truly are… what if someone doesn't like it? Well, they can move on, let's give ourselves the right to remain authentic and not to have to accommodate for pleasing others.

And what would you like to authorize yourself on?
